Carnivalism Update 02.04.03

Posted on 04 April 2003

Busy at Carnivalism HQ has it been!  As the weather bears a twinkle in its eye thoughts steer towards lost days in Beer gardens, barbeques, holidays, festivals and of course Carnival.

Unfortunately due to our secretive nature we can’t let on what we have planed over the Notting Hill festivities later in the Summer.  Nonetheless, you can be sure in the fact that we will be providing refuge once the sound systems get unplugged, floats are whisked away and the queue to join Norman Jay’s after party resembles the Great Wall of China, we’ll be there to make you think that perhaps Carnival should be more than a couple of days in Summer.

While Dom has been hurling himself down mountains on planks of wood, Matt has started a new regular event in Notting Hill’s Zig Zag.  Check out the listings page for more details but more importantly get yourselves down their every other Friday and share a beer with him.  After all, the decks are on the bar so it won’t be hard!

With the blinding response from you lot on March’s visit to Play we return with a vengeance, May Bank Holiday weekend.  Expect a fearfully funky affair as we welcome special guests for what we hope to be our biggest yet.  As soon as we have everything confirmed we’ll post the flyer and give you the chance to get on our non-paying guest list.
