Just Fine (Carnivalism Breaks)

Posted on 19 November 2009

Mary.J-previewI have been working on a track over the past couple of days. A combination of two terrific tunes – Mary J Blige’s “Just Fine” & a Soulwax remix of the Gorillaz chart killer “Dare”.

I have been searching for a Jovonn remix of “Just Fine” that I heard Norman Jay playing at this year’s Notting Hill carnival. Without any joy I resorted to making my own version of this infectious track. Nothing like the deep house version that was cause of the inspiration but that’s just how things go!

I’ve got some pretty cool artwork coming up to go with the track to so watch this space.

Thanks goes to out Kataclism who has been recently showing me where I’ve been going so wrong with Logic for the past 5 or so years! You are a star hunny!
