Music always causes fireworks in our house so we hope that this unfortunately numbered edition does the same for you!

We’ve started on a bit of a political whinge with the first 3 tracks – Ball of Confusion (1970), Justice to the People (1973), Let the Dollar Circulate (1975). I can’t believe how poignant and relevant these song sound today, although written in an era when Nixon and the Vietnam War were firmly on people’s minds.

But before we fall into a territory better suited to the Paxmans or Dimblebys of this world, onto lighter things and a special nod of appreciation aimed towards an artist that features not once, twice but 3 times in this episode, and if you haven’t heard of The Revenge already, then perhaps its about time that you went outside a little more.

The Glaswegian producer has currently somewhat of a Midas touch. Otherwise know as Graeme Clark, he has been producing throughout his teens and has already over 15 releases to his name. That alongside a bagful of remixes have kept him well in demand not only on the decks, but in the studio also.

I wonder if he realises he has a doppelganger who invented the bionic ear?
